The ongoing global coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak is significantly impacting national, international business and cross-border commercial operations. On 30 January 2020, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak a “public health emergency of international concern”. Today, no one can predict how long the outbreak will last or how far it will spread globally. Clearly, these events are unprecedented in modern times and could have profound business implications if not proactively addressed. We understand that you may be concerned with potential risks of disruptions of service due to the corona virus in India and our other International offices.
Our top priority is to make sure that all our employees in all places are safe, and avoid any risk of contamination and yet serve our customers to the best of our ability. Majority of our staff are working from home with all possible infrastructure like mobile phones and laptop computers. Whereas the possible impact of coronavirus COVID-19 on the business, support and IT functions of our company in our various centres/offices, at first sight, seems limited, however, the risk of such an impact is real and cannot be exactly predictable. You are hereby requested to note that any service delays and disruptions due to COVID-19 consequences would be beyond our control and shall be treated as a Force Majeure situation. Govt. of India, Govt. of Maharashtra and other applicable authorities in various international jurisdictions have issued several directives in this regard and we will continue to make best endeavours to remain compliant with the same.”
